Collab w/ The Plant Room Garden Sessions

The Garden Sessions are creative workshops that celebrate plants, creativity and urban growing.

We are really excited to bring you an afternoon that celebrates all the beauties of Midsummer – fresh fragrant herbs, flower crowns, quenching teas and delicious cakes.

The afternoon will be divided into 3 parts – learning, doing, celebrating, and is in collaboration with nutritional consultant, spice and herb guru, Melanie Hadida.

In the first part Mel will discuss the flavours and wellness properties of a number of herbs. She will give you growing tips and talk you through the process of selecting and combining herbs for culinary use and fresh tea making.  

The second part of the workshop will be led by The Plant Room where we will teach you some basic floristry skills and techniques and then set you off to experiment with cut florals and botanicals to create your very own scented herbal midsummer crown.

The afternoon will culminate in a delicious tea and cake celebration. We will raise a cup to the Summer Equinox in all its glory.
