You'll need the following ingredients and equipment to participate.
Warming Healthy Dal
INGREDIENTS
250g (or one mug) of lentils -- these should be those red/orange lentils which are the quickest to cook!
1 large onion
1 thumb of ginger and/or a few cloves of garlic
Turmeric
A few teaspoons of whole or ground spices such as coriander, cumin, fennel, black mustard
Chillies (optional)
Fresh lime, fresh coriander
EQUIPMENT
One pot, one frying pan, knife & cutting board.
Optional fun tool -- mortar & pestle!
